18 years ago my life completely changed. I married my husband, moved from Oregon to Alaska, went from working full-time on the 18th story of a commercial building to commercial fishing, house building, martial artist, ocean kayaker, cross country skier and, eventually a homeschooling mom of 2. It’s been quite an adventurous journey and I’d love to share glimpses of it with you.
Another big part of this change was the transformation into an entrepreneurial mindset. An entrepreneurial mindset is so much more than simply owning a business; it is taking responsibility in every area of your life including education, health, food, housing, transportation, religion, etc., in addition to your livelihood. It is an entire outlook on life – looking at options outside the box.
